During this one-day intensive masterclass, participants will learn the fundamentals of communication, equipping them with the skills and behaviours to communicate with clarity and impact, and influence decisions in the right way.

The ability to connect powerfully with other people is vital, even more so in a digital age. Clear communication is paramount to business success.

This session teaches something fundamental – that a small amount of time spent consciously developing ‘the basics’ can transform your personal impact.

A study at Stanford University found that details when told in stories are retained x22 more than raw facts alone. Human beings are hard-wired for story.

It is rare to find any aspect of a business that can’t be improved through increased use of story – whether it’s pitching for a new project, building relationships, debriefing a project, illustrating why expedience is of the essence: story fits into every element of our professional and personal life.

Effective communication requires us to learn to adapt to our audience.

In this module we explore different influence styles rooted in Carl Jung’s theory of archetypal psychology, enabling participants to adapt to their audience and ‘speak their language’.

“One difficult conversation is far better than many that avoid the truth”. Renowned leader Sheryl Sandberg takes this aphorism one stage further, adding: “The amount of progress that we make is directly proportional to the number of hard conversations that we’re willing to have.”
